Former Ukrainian prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko said Friday she is not afraid to bear responsibility for her work on the prime ministerial post.
Tymoshenko, whose government was dismissed by Ukraine's parliament on Wednesday, narrowly lost to Viktor Yanukovych in a February 7 presidential election runoff.
Tymoshenko has said her cabinet saved the ex-Soviet state from the crisis but according to Yanukovych, her work on the post was "inefficient."
Tymoshenko said on the Ukraina TV channel Friday evening that she does not rule out Yanukovych's Party of Regions will try to bring her to account, including criminal, because, in her words, she fought corruption.
"They want [to see] me in prison, but to no avail. I have no fear," she said.
