MOSCOW, November 16 (RIA Novosti) - The Yukos, drowning petroleum mammoth, published its accounts today. Net losses for the year's first nine months make 182.695 billion roubles, as calculated on Russian accounting standards-against last year's 22.714 billion net profit. Uncompensated losses made 167.915 billion roubles, as of September 30.

Penalties, fines and imputed income taxes together amounted to 100.2 billion roubles for the same date, as against a total 7.4 million roubles for last year.

The current Central Bank rate is R28.69/US$1.

The Federal Taxation Service is demanding from the Yukos another 99.3 billion roubles as 2000 fiscal arrears. The Yukos appealed against the claim. Moscow's Arbitration Court of Appeal No. 9 buried the appeal today to confirm the claim.

The Tax Ministry (by now transformed into the Federal Taxation Service) made the claim, April 14. The Moscow Arbitration Court turned down a Yukos lawsuit against it, August 27, to make company lawyers turn to the court of appeal.

The whole sum has been collected from the Yukos. Last summer's arbitration and cassation court sessions confirmed collection legality.
