Moskovskie Novosti layout design, infographics to be exhibited in Croatia

The design of the Moskovskie Novosti (Moscow News in Russian) newspaper and a number of infographic features published in 2011 were included in the shortlist of the Zgraf international exhibition of graphic design and visual communications. This year, over 100 works from all over the world passed the first round and will be displayed at the exhibition in Zagreb, Croatia, from March 15 through April 5 (http://www.zgraf.hr/en/odabrani-radovi-zgraf-11/).
Another selection round will take place on March 14. The winners will be selected by the International Jury: Barbara de Wilde, designer (U.S.), Boris Ljubicic, designer (Croatia), Rick Poynor, theoretician of design and visual communications (UK), Huda Smitshuijzen AbiFares, designer (Lebanon / the Netherlands), and Niklaus Troxler, designer (Switzerland).
The winners will be announced at the opening of Zgraf 11 on March 15. Specialists from all over the world will gather to share their professional experience. The exhibition typically features master classes, lectures, seminars and presentations.
The Zgraf international exhibition of graphic design and visual communications has been held every three years in Zagreb since 1975. The event is organized by ULUPUH, the Croatian Association of Artists of Applied Arts.
