November 26 preview
* A Kazakh delegation headed by Prime Minister Danial Akhmetov will visit the Energia rocket and space corporation.
* A top-level group for the formation of the Common Economic Space of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan will hold a session to discuss draft agreements on customs and other issues.
* Thai Foreign Minister Khantathi Suphamongkon will arrive in Moscow on a four-day official visit.
* Greece's Deputy Minister of Tourism Anastassios Liaskos will hold a news conference on the development of pilgrimage tourism (12:00 p.m.).
* The Moscow City Court will consider removing the Rodina (Homeland) party from the Moscow Duma election list following a lawsuit filed by the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR), who accused Rodina of inciting inter-ethnic tension (3:00 p.m.).
KAZAN
* Health and Social Development Minister Mikhail Zurabov will visit Tatarstan.
KRASNOYARSK
* A congress of the United Russia party will be held. United Russia leader Boris Gryzlov will deliver a report on the topic, From Stability to Development.
GROZNY
* A delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) will arrive in Chechnya on a three-day visit. The delegates will not monitor the parliamentary elections scheduled for December 27 but will meet with local officials and candidates.
BESLAN
* The first Red Cross festival will open in Beslan. A Norwegian delegation will attend.
KHANTY-MANSIISK
* The World Chess Cup will open (November 26 - December 17) involving 128 players from different countries.
KIEV
* The Supreme Rada election campaign will begin in Ukraine. The elections are scheduled for March 26, 2006.
