YEREVAN

* Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov will arrive in Armenia on a two-day official visit. He will meet with his counterpart, Andranik Markaryan. Extended talks will then be held, and joint documents signed. Fradkov will also attend the closing ceremony of Russia's "Year in Armenia".

* A Russian national exhibition organized by the Economic Development and Trade Ministry will open in Yerevan (December 2-5).

MOSCOW

* The Education and Science Ministry will host a roundtable on the priorities for Russia's international scientific-technical and innovation cooperation (10:00 a.m.).

* The international affairs committee of the Federation Council (parliament's upper chamber) will hold a session of an expert council on the theme "The World and Russia in 2030" (10:00 a.m.).

* Commander of Russia's Strategic Missile Forces Nikolai Solovtsov will give a news conference on the forces' condition, and the prospects and role of Topol missile systems in Russia's nuclear security (12:00 p.m.).

* RIA Novosti will host the following news conferences:

- with Irkutsk Region Governor Alexander Tishanin on the socio-economic projects in the Lake Baikal area (11:00 a.m.);

- on the Islam for Peace forum opening in Chechnya on December 10 to commemorate first Chechen President Akhmad Kadyrov (11:00 a.m.);

- on rehabilitation of disabled children (12:00 p.m.);

- with the leader of Ukraine's Progressive Socialist Party Natalia Vitrenko on political developments in Ukraine at the start of the parliamentary election campaign (1:30 p.m.).

* The European Forum and Russian State Humanitarian University will hold a roundtable on the influence of NATO's fourth stage of enlargement on political and election developments in former Soviet countries (3:00 p.m.).

* The Central House of Journalists will host a news conference on the financing of housing certificates for servicemen (1:30 p.m.).

* A conference, Russia and Italy: the use of new business opportunities, will be held (9:30 a.m.). Italian Deputy External Trade Minister Adolfo Urso, Deputy Economy Minister Mario Baldassarri, President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Alexander Shokhin, Vneshtorgbank President Andrei Kostin, and Russian and Italian businessmen will attend.

KISLOVODSK

* A conference on the socio-economic development of the Southern Federal District will be held. Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Zhukov, Economic Development and Trade Minister German Gref, Regional Development Minister Vladimir Yakovlev, and regional heads will attend.

KIEV

* The first forum of the Democratic Choice Community will be held. Leaders of Eastern European, Baltic and Black Sea states, as well as UN, OSCE, NATO, EU and Council of Europe's representatives will attend.

BAKU

* Co-rapporteurs of the PACE monitoring committee for Azerbaijan Andreas Gross and Andres Herkel will arrive in Baku. They will monitor the situation in the country after the recent parliamentary elections and discuss feedback on their results. They will present monitoring results in Paris December 15.

LONDON

* The final session of G8 finance ministers and central bank heads will be held to discuss the results of the British G8 presidency (December 2-3). Deputy Finance Minister Sergei Storchak will head the Russian delegation.

HANOI

* Days of Moscow forum will open (December 2-3). A delegation of the Moscow government will attend.
