British trip-hop duo Massive Attack will play a one-off gig in Moscow's Megasport Palace to promote their new album late on Friday.
The group will play a set from their long-awaited "Heligoland" album, which was released in February, the gig's organizers have said.
The album, the group's first new LP since the release of "100th window" in 2003, has made it into the top ten in more than a dozen countries around the world.
The Moscow show will be followed by a gig at St. Petersburg's CKK Sports Arena on Sunday.
British soul singer Martina Topley-Bird is the warm-up act for both shows.
Massive Attack, hailing from Bristol, named Britain's "most musical city" by a recent survey, are considered to be progenitors of the trip hop genre.
