Russian Film Release in US Slated for Nov.

MOSCOW, October 31 (RIA Novosti)
Victor Ginzburg’s Generation P, an adaptation of the eponymous novel by Victor Pelevin about the rise of the advertising industry in Post-Soviet Russia, will be released in the US on November 16.
The Roskino company, which is promoting the movie on the international market, said the American Film Market will organize the film’s trade show for US and Asian distributors on November 5.
Work on the film began in 2007, and it was released in Russian theaters on April 14, 2011. It was named among last year’s most notable Russian movie premieres.
The movie, with an estimated budget of $7 million, grossed over $4 million in Russia. It was shown on more than 500 screens.
