MOSCOW, August 17 (RIA Novosti) - The Russian Federal Tax Service has created a new interregional inspectorate for large tax contributors that will monitor machine-building companies, a tax service source said.

The new inspectorate will be based in St. Petersburg.

The Federal Tax Service has already set up seven interregional inspectorates for oil, gas, alcohol, energy, metals, transportation, and communications.
