MOSCOW, June 28 (RIA Novosti) - The head of Russia's Federal Agency for Nuclear Power said Wednesday the country's uranium producing enterprises should be integrated into a single holding company.
"It is necessary to create an integrated mining company comprising all of Russia's uranium producing enterprises," Sergei Kiriyenko said, adding that the company could work with partners from former Soviet republics, in particular Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
Kiriyenko said the company could eventually have a global outreach.
