MOSCOW, July 3 (RIA Novosti) - Gazprom (RTS: GAZP) said Monday its 2005 net profit calculated to U.S. GAAP standards rose 37.1% year-on-year to $2.8 billion.
Gazprom, the world's third largest company with a market capitalization of almost $300 billion, said its proceeds from the sale of oil, gas and refined products rose 63% in the reporting period to $14.33 billion.
Gross profit equaled $14.59 billion and pre-tax profit grew 26.2% to $3.69 billion, Gazprom said.
