Russia's Finance Ministry to place $370-mln in OFZ bonds July 19

MOSCOW, July 14 (RIA Novosti) - The Russian Finance Ministry will hold an auction July 19 to place additional federal loan bonds (OFZ) worth 10 billion (about $370 million), the Central Bank of Russia said Friday.

The Finance Ministry will place Series 25059RMFS permanent coupon income bonds, maturing on January 19, 2011, on the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange, the CBR said.

The bonds have par value of 1,000 rubles (about $37) each and a coupon period of 91 days. The second coupon will be paid July 26, 2006 at an interest rate of 6.10% per year, yielding an income of 15.21 rubles ($0.56).

The first coupon was paid at a similar rate April 26 with an accrued income of 14.4 rubles (about $0.53).

The bonds will be offered to residents and nonresidents through official government securities market dealers, the CBR said.
