MOSCOW, August 30 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's meat production in January-July grew 8% year-on-year to total 150,000 metric tons, the Russian Agriculture Ministry said Wednesday.
The ministry said in a statement that production of poultry meat and pork in the reporting period grew 18% and 10%, respectively, contributing to the average figure for the sector's growth.
