Russian oil export tax to hit record $237.6 per ton as of Oct. 1

The customs duty on the export of crude oil and petroleum products has been fixed at a record level of $237.6 per ton starting October 1, the Russian government said Tuesday.
MOSCOW, September 19 (RIA Novosti) - The customs duty on the export of crude oil and petroleum products has been fixed at a record level of $237.6 per ton starting October 1, the Russian government said Tuesday.

On August 1, the oil export tax was set at $216.4 per ton.

The tax is revised every two months, based on Urals crude prices on world markets.
