MOSCOW, January 31 (RIA Novosti) - Credit institutions' balances on correspondent accounts with the Central Bank of Russia totaled 421.4 billion rubles ($15.9 billion at the current exchange rate) at the beginning of the business day, up 9.8% (37.5 billion rubles/$1.4 billion) from Tuesday, the CBR said Wednesday.
Credit institutions' balances on deposit accounts with the Bank of Russia stood at 92.3 billion rubles ($3.5 billion), down 18.4% (20.8 billion rubles/$783.9 million), from Tuesday.
