CHISINAU, February 26 (RIA Novosti) - Moldova's foreign exchange reserves increased 22.7%, or $175 million, as of February 26, 2007 month-on-month, to $770 million, the Moldovan National Bank said Monday.

The bank attributed the increase in the republic's international reserves to the purchase of surplus foreign currency, mainly U.S. dollars, on the open domestic market.
