MOSCOW, March 30 (RIA Novosti) - The net profit of MegaFon [RTS: MEGF] according to Russian Accounting Standards grew 55% in 2006, year-on-year, to 6.4 billion rubles ($246 million), Russia's third-largest mobile operator said Friday.
The cost of the company's assets in 2006 grew to 82.5 billion rubles ($3.2 billion), from 71.2 billion rubles ($2.7 billion) in 2005.
