Ilyushin Finance Co. to export 40% of Russia-built aircraft
Alexander Rubtsov said Russia's major aircraft leasing company has developed a strategy in accordance to which the IFC will be represented on all continents, adding that two missions have already been set up in Latin America and one will soon open in China.
He said that aircraft such as the Il-96 and Tu-204 would be primarily exported to developing countries.
IFC has a 38% stake in Russia's United Aircraft Building Corporation (UABC).
UABC, which is 90% state owned, consolidates aircraft building companies and state assets, and engages in the manufacture, design and sale of military, non-military, transport and unmanned aircraft in a bid to streamline the Russian aviation industry.
It incorporates commercial and military aircraft makers, such as Sukhoi, Ilyushin and Tupolev, as well as companies involved in distribution, including Aviaexport.
