Russia's Gazprom posts 0.7% decline in IFRS net income in 1H07

MOSCOW, December 5 (RIA Novosti) -Gazprom [RTS: GAZP] said on Wednesday its net income calculated to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) dropped 0.66% year on year in January-June 2007 to 330.05 billion rubles ($13.5 billion).

The energy giant said sales (net of excise tax, VAT and customs duties) increased 5% in the reporting period to 1,143 billion rubles ($46.7 billion) while operating profit declined 13.17% to 351.68 billion rubles ($14.4 billion).
