Russia's Central Bank gets go ahead to issue loans to other banks

MOSCOW, October 3 (RIA Novosti) - The State Duma adopted legal amendments on Friday paving the way for Russia's Central Bank to issue unsecured loans for up to six months to rated Russian banks.
The amendments are part of efforts to stabilize the country's financial sector amid the current global financial crisis.
The amendments will allow the Central Bank to issue loans under terms and conditions set by its boards of directors.
