MOSCOW, July 10 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's Finance Ministry estimated on Friday that the country's budget deficit had increased to 753.6 billion rubles ($23.6 bln) in June from 510.7 billion rubles ($16 bln) in January.
Federal budget revenues stood at 3.2 trillion rubles ($99 bln) with budget expenditure amounting to 3.9 trillion rubles ($123 bln) in the first half of 2009.
The Federal Tax Service provided the bulk of budget income - 1.37 trillion rubles ($43 bln), tax revenue reached 1.3 trillion rubles ($41 bln), and the Federal Property Management contributed 12.3 billion rubles ($384 mln) in the reporting period.
Russia's budget deficit in January-June accounted for 4.2% of GDP.
