Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) will require 1,005 new civil airplanes costing an estimated $90 billion over the next 20 years, a Boeing marketing head said on Monday.
Crude oil producer Slavneft, ranked among Russia's top ten oil companies, posted a 9.2% drop, year-on-year, to $483.56 million in its 2008 U.S. GAAP net profits.
The official dollar rate set by the Russian Central Bank for August 18 is 32.2874 rubles, up 56.48 kopeks from Monday, the Central Bank said.
Russia is expected to raise oil export duty from the current $222 to $238.6 per metric ton from September 1, following trends on global oil markets, a senior Finance Ministry official said on Monday.
