MOSCOW, September 18 (RIA Novosti) - Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin will meet with the heads of several multinational companies at an investment forum underway in the Black Sea resort of Sochi, a government official said.
The Sochi-2009 International Investment forum runs from September 17 to 20.
Putin will hold separate discussions with the heads of technology and services giant General Electric, investment bank Morgan Stanley, and equity firm TPG Capital (formerly Texas Pacific Group), the source told RIA Novosti.
The forum will also be attended by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak, Economics Minister Elvira Nabiullina, representatives of several other ministries, and the heads of regional governments.
"In view of the economic situation, there will be a focus on priority themes such as attracting investment amid the financial crisis and perspectives for the domestic commercial real estate market," the source said.
