Azerbaijan-Russia trade up 28.5% to $1.3 bln in year to September

BAKU, October 19 (RIA Novosti) - Azerbaijan's trade with Russia in the first nine months of the current year rose 28.5% year-on-year to $1.345 billion, Azerbaijan's State Customs Committee said on Monday.

It said Azerbaijan imported $792.2 million worth of Russian goods (18.3% of total imports in the reporting period) while its exports to Russia were worth $552.9 million (5.54% of total exports).

Russia became Azerbaijan's third largest trading partner in the reporting period, after Italy ($2.59 billion) and the United States ($1.349 billion).
