Willis Lease Finance to buy six SSJ 100 from SuperJet in $300m deal

U.S. firm Willis Lease Finance Corporation has signed a memorandum of understanding with SuperJet International to buy six Sukhoi Superjet 100 passenger planes for $300 million.

U.S. firm Willis Lease Finance Corporation has signed a memorandum of understanding with SuperJet International, a joint venture of Italy's Alenia Aeronautica and Russia's Sukhoi Civil Aircraft, to buy six Sukhoi Superjet 100 passenger planes for $300 million with an option on another four, SuperJet International said on Thursday.

The first supplies of Sukhoi Superjet 100/95 LR models will take place in September 2012, SuperJet International said in a statement.
