California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger will on Sunday bring to Russia a delegation of American investors, Russia's state-owned Corporation of Nanotechnologies (Rusnano) said.

The delegation will include representatives of venture capital funds and innovation companies from the U.S. Silicon Valley.

For the U.S. business community this will be a chance to find out how their companies might benefit from the $10 billion that Rusnano committed to investing in new technologies.

The delegates will visit the Skolkovo research hub outside Moscow and take part in the Global Innovation Partnership forum. They will also meet with the Russian leadership and businessmen from Moscow and the city of Kazan in the republic of Tatarstan.

Craig Barrett, co-chairman of Skolkovo's board of directors, Jeffrey Henley, chairman of Oracle's board, and Dan'l Lewin, Microsoft's vice president for strategic and emerging business development are among the delegates.

This will be the second delegation of U.S. venture capitalists to Russia this year, following one in May.

President Dmitry Medvedev, who has made developing the high-tech sector and encouraging innovative research the focal point of his economic agenda, met with Schwarzenegger when he paid a visit to the Silicon Valley in summer.
