Aeroflot, Russia's largest airline will impose penalties on Russian producer Sukhoi Civil Aircraft for failure to deliver Sukhoi Superjet-100 short-range alriners on schedule, Aeroflot Deputy General Director Finance and Investment Shamil Kurmashev said on Wednesday.

"They can supply us with two planes in December, but they will be planes which do not meet Aeroflot's requirements. We will not accept sub-standard planes. We need them for our schedule, we have great plans for next year," he said.

Aeroflot is the largest customer for the SSJ 100, with orders for 30 aircraft. The start of SSJ 100 deliveries has been postponed from December 2009 to the second half of 2010.

Kurmashev also threatened a $100 million penalty to Boeing, which has postponed delivery of 22 Boeing-787 Dreamliner passenger aircraft from 2014 to 2016. Two aircraft may be delivered before the 2014 Winter Olympic Games. "Of course, we will impose (the fine)," he said.

Boeing declined to comment.
