EU still ready to help upgrade Ukraine's gas pipelines - Oettinger

The European Commission confirms its willingness to participate in the upgrade of the Ukrainian gas transportation system, Ukraine's Unian news agency reported on Friday, quoting European Commissioner for Energy Gunther Oettinger.

Ukraine will pay Russia $416 per cu m for gas in the first quarter of 2012, $418 in the second and third quarters and $413 in the final quarter, Ukraine's energy company Naftogaz Ukraina said on Friday.
