TASHKENT, July 23 (RIA Novosti) - Two people were killed when a Mi-24 helicopter of the Uzbek air force crashed on Thursday near the airport of Chirchiq northeast of the capital, Tashkent, a defense ministry source said.
The incident occurred early on Thursday during a training flight.
A special commission has been set up to investigate the cause of the crash.
