YEKATERINBURG, August 22 (RIA Novosti) - Three people were injured when fire broke out at an oil pump station in the Khanty Mansi autonomous district of western Siberia, a spokesman for the Urals emergencies center said on Saturday.

"An oil reservoir caught fire at 5.05 p.m. Moscow time (2.05 p.m. GMT)," he said adding that the fire spread to two neighboring reservoirs. The volume of each reservor is 20,000 cubic meters.

He also said 48 rescuers and 17 fire engines are involved in extinguishing the fire, which currently covers 2,000 square meters.
