KRASNOYARSK / CHERYOMUSHKI, September 4 (RIA Novosti) - Body parts believed to belong to the last two missing victims of August's deadly accident at a South Siberian hydropower plant have been found, a source at a local medical centre said on Friday.
A total of 73 people were killed and two are still listed as missing following the August 17 accident at the Sayano-Shushenskaya station in Siberia's Khakasia Republic.
"There is huge possibility that the bodies of all 75 victims have been found," the source said.
A local investigator said however it was too early to say whether the remains belong to the missing people.
"Since the beginning of the search operation, some 30 various body fragments have been found. Blood samples have been taken from 75 relatives. As soon as we get the results, we will be able to say for sure," Vladimir Anufriev said.
Hospital officials refused to comment.
