Four children die in house fire in Russia's Urals

Four children have been killed in a fire in the Sverdlovsk Region in Russia's Urals, the regional emergencies ministry said on Friday.

YEKATERINBURG, September 11 (RIA Novosti) - Four children have been killed in a fire in the Sverdlovsk Region in Russia's Urals, the regional emergencies ministry said on Friday.

The fire broke out late on Thursday in a house in the village of Pokrovskoye. Three boys, aged 10, seven and four, and a one-year-old girl died.

"The children were alone in the house," a ministry spokesman said.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
