Forty minutes to get injured out of cars in Siberia accident

Five cars and a truck have collided in the southern Siberian city of Irkutsk on a bridge across the Angara River, four people were injured, local emergencies services said Thursday.

IRKUTSK, October 15 (RIA Novosti) - Five cars and a truck have collided in the southern Siberian city of Irkutsk on a bridge across the Angara River, four people were injured, local emergencies services said Thursday.

It took rescuers 40 minutes to take those injured out of the automobiles.

"The driver of a Toyota Mark II car broke traffic regulations. He drove into the oncoming lane and collided head-on with a Nissan Sunny car," the services said.

Three other cars and a Kamaz truck that carried lumber were unable to avoid a collision and crashed into the pileup.
