At least 5 dead in India train crash

MOSCOW, October 21 (RIA Novosti) - At least 5 people were killed and 50 injured when two trains collided in northern India, the Times of India said on Wednesday, citing local TV channels.
An express to India's popular tourist destination, Goa, rammed into the rear carriage of a train en route to the western Indian region of Mewar at approximately 05:30 local time (00:00 GMT). A rescue operation is ongoing.
The NDTV news channel puts the death toll at 10-12, with 40-50 feared trapped.
