MINSK, October 29 (RIA Novosti) - The relatives of those who died in Monday's crash of a Russian business jet near Minsk airport are expected in the Belarusian capital on Thursday, the Russian embassy in Belarus said.

Two passengers and three crewmembers died in the crash, including Marat Romashkin, the head of the jet operator, the Moscow-based S-Air company.

A Hawker-125 executive jet flight took off at 9:06 pm Moscow time (18:06 GMT) on Monday from Vnukovo airport in Moscow and disappeared from radar screens at 10:35 pm (19:35 GMT) during its approach to Minsk International Airport.

According to preliminary information, the plane failed to make the landing on its first attempt and was lost by traffic controllers following the second attempt to land in normal visibility and satisfactory, although rainy, weather conditions.

S-Air is a small private company, which provides charter services to top-level executives and government officials. Its fleet comprises several Yak-42D, Tu-134, Yak-40, Hawker-125-700B and Hawker-125-800B planes.
