Topic: Interior Ministry reform
MOSCOW, November 28 (RIA Novosti) - A police officer who shot his colleague in the head and then turned his weapon on himself near Moscow earlier on Saturday has died in hospital, investigators said.
Earlier reports said two police officers had been seriously injured in a shooting incident in the Moscow Region town of Kurovskoye.
"The police officer who wounded his colleague in the head has died in intensive care," an investigation spokesperson told RIA Novosti. He also said an investigation was underway.
Initial reports suggest the officers had argued before the incident.
One of the officers was discovered in his patrol car and the other next to the vehicle.
In mid-November, a police officer from the Urals city of Severouralsk committed suicide after accidentally shooting a female colleague dead.
