SARAJEVO, November 27 (RIA Novosti) - Two masked suspects attacked, beat up and robbed a senior diplomat from the Czech Embassy in Serbia on Sunday night, Serbian media agencies reported.
The attack took place at about 8:00 p.m. local time (19:00 GMT) at a highway near the town of Vrbas, which is located some 100 kilometers (62 miles) to the north of Belgrade.
Ronald Frank, the 66-year-old attaché of the Czech Embassy in Serbia, was hospitalized after the attack with a head injury and bruises.
The assailants stole from the diplomat two cellular phones, 10,000 dinars (some $115) as well as a satellite navigation device from his car.
