MOSCOW, January 10 (RIA Novosti) - The Russian Embassy in the UK confirmed on Thursday the death of a 23-year-old Russian woman in London, NTV reported.

Police discovered the body of Anastasia Voykina in a house in Streatham at around 2 a.m. on Monday, The Evening Standard said.

Her boyfriend, Felipe Lopes, 27, was arrested Monday morning on the street in the Farnborough area of Bromley and is now in custody at a south London police station.

A post-mortem examination gave her cause of death as multiple fractures to the face, head and neck.

A missing person report for Ms Voykina was made on Sunday after people she knew became concerned.

Investigators found the body in Voykina's flat on James Boswell Close.

Police said she made a phone call to her family on December 30, which was the last known contact with her.
