The film Amour (Love) by Michael Haneke got Palme d'Or of Cannes Film Festival.
The official jury of the 65th Cannes Film Festal headed by Nanni Moretti revealed the prize winners during the closing Ceremony.
Audrey Tautou and Adrien Brody were on the stage to give Palme d'Or for the best film. In 2009 Austrian director Michael Haneke received Palme d'Or for his black and white film The White Ribbon. In 2005, in Cannes Haneke got Best Director award for his film Hidden.
Mads Mikkelsen in Jagten by Thomas Vinterberg got the award for Best Actor.
Cristina Flutur and Cosmina Stratan in Beyond The Hills by Cristian Mungiu got awards for best actresses.
Grand Prix of Cannes Film Festival went to Reality by Italian Matteo Garrone.
Cristian Mungiu got award for Best Screenplay for his Beyond The Hills. In 2007 Mungiu got Palme d'Or for 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days.
The best director award got Mexican Carlos Reygadasa for Post Tenebras Lux.
The 65th annual Cannes Film Festival was held from May 16 to May 27, 2012.
