A priest in western Ukraine's Volynskaya Region was murdered on Tuesday, the UNIAN news agency reported citing local police.
KIEV, September 29 (RIA Novosti) - A priest in western Ukraine's Volynskaya Region was murdered on Tuesday, the UNIAN news agency reported citing local police.
The local police said that the priest had been killed by a blow to the head with an axe.
The tragedy occurred in the Belotsk village. The priest's body was discovered by a senior priest from a neighboring church and the victim's brother, the police said.
A murder investigation has been launched.
