BAKU, October 2 (RIA Novosti) - Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev is arriving in Azerbaijan on an official visit Friday, a Kazakh embassy official said.
Earlier the Kazakh Foreign Ministry said the two countries' leaders will discuss bilateral and multilateral cooperation in trade, energy, transport, agriculture, education, tourism, oil and gas equipment and sea navigation in the Caspian.
Ministry spokesman Ilyas Omarov said the visit "is called upon to give a new impetus to the deepening of the Kazakh-Azerbaijani partnership."
In 2008, bilateral trade stood at $490 million.
