Kazakh customs officers have seized undeclared arms from a shipment of second hand cars going from the U.S., a spokesman for the customs control committee at the ex-Soviet state’s Finance Ministry said on Saturday.
An undeclared batch of 3,600 cartridges, two pistols, a pneumatic rifle, 160 gas bottles and six metal containers with cartridges for a pneumatic gun were discovered and seized at the Dostyk customs office on Friday.
An investigation is underway.
