The voter turnout in Sunday's presidential election runoff in Ukraine was 46.39% as of 15:00 Kiev time [13:00 GMT], preliminary data from the ex-Soviet state's Central Election Commission said Sunday.
Opposition leader Viktor Yanukovych and Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko are facing each other in the second round today.
The data came from 20 out of 226 territorial election commissions.
Yanukovych gained 35.32% of the votes in the first round on January 17, while Tymoshenko came second with 25.05%. Both presidential contenders have continuously exchanged accusations of fraud and preparations for provocative acts before the crucial runoff.
