Russia and Ukraine do not have any fundamental contradictions anymore, Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said on Wednesday.
"We stated that currently there are no fundamental contradictions between our countries," Azarov said referring to talks with Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin held on Monday.
Azarov also said that between Russia and Ukraine "mutual understanding" and "dynamics in relations" had reached high levels.
The Ukrainian premier said that in the first four months of this year Russian-Ukrainian trade turnover had doubled. The countries are working on agreements in the energy sector along with an independent market assessment of aircraft construction enterprises in both countries.
"The talks were productive, the countries' interests are taken into account to their fullest," Azarov said.
