The Ukrainian government is ready to work with the opposition, but has not yet received any concrete proposals, Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said on Wednesday.
The parliament's fall session opened in Kiev on Tuesday amid protest rallies over a rise in utility charges and the government's plans to increase the retirement age.
"There are no constructive proposals, they are out with their populist slogans again," Azarov said.
Police have been on stand-by since the demonstrations began.
