I think it is counter-productive for the US government to say "You are either with US or against US". There are thousands of US citizens as well as immigrants who do not have anything against the US government but protested the invasion of Iraq as illegal. For example, I am an Indian citizen but I think like a white American since I grew up in America and I was against the Iraq war but that does not mean that I am against the entire US government.
