Russian logic? During his official visit to Finland, President Medvedev laid a wreath on the grave of Finland's national hero, Marshall C.G.E. Mannerheim. Mannerheim? Isn't that the stubborn aristocratic anti-Communist warrior who dared to resist the Great Stalin in 1939? Mannerheim? Isn't that the man who met Adolf Hitler in person twice (be it reluctantly, but anyway) and joined the F?hrer in his crusade against the Soviet Union? A collaborator with Fascism, as Russia normally puts it? But persuading Finland to grant permission for the construction of a gas pipeline in its Exclusive Economic Zone is far more important than principles, it seems. Russian logic?
