Russia's new stealth fighter jet will enter service in 2014-2015, the country's air force chief said on Tuesday.
The Sukhoi T-50, also called the PAK FA, made its first public appearance at the MAKS-2011 air show near Moscow on Tuesday.
The plane, which is being developed in partnership with India, made its maiden flight in the Russian Far East last year.
"We will receive a T-50 prototype in 2013," air force commander-in-chief General Alexander Zelin told reporters. "Mass produced aircraft will not arrive until 2014-2015."
