US Warship Calls at Ukrainian Port Amid Protests
A U.S. guided missile cruiser stopped at the Ukrainian Black Sea port of Sevastopol on Thursday with a group of some 50 protesters chanting “Yankee, go home!” and “No to NATO!”

The USS Vella Gulf (CG 72), a Ticonderoga class guided missile cruiser, is on a mission in the Black Sea and is to visit the ports of Constanta, Sevastopol and Odessa.
It carries 26 Tomahawk cruise missiles with a range of up to 3,000 kilometers and has elements of a missile defense system on board.
The protesters also burned a U.S. flag featuring Nazi swastika instead of stars.
Yevhen Dubovik, a protest organizer, said the visit was illegal because it had not been authorized by Ukraine’s parliament.
“Nevertheless, a warship has called here that has offensive weapons on board and it is not ruled out that if it receives orders it will deliver a strike on Iran in close proximity to our coast,” he said.
“Thus Ukraine, a state not affiliated with any military blocs, may automatically become involved in an international conflict.”
The USS Vella Gulf is to remain in Sevastopol until January 31. A number of joint tactical exercises with Ukrainian naval units have been planned.

If the Russian Missile Defence shield can successfully shoot down the US Cruise missiles in flight on their way to Iran, then this will be a good test to see if the system is adequate to protect Russia.
Russian can look at this opportunity as War Games with the United States and Iran using live ammunition in this case US guided missiles.
It is probably an important time for Russia, China and India to have a military conference and discuss how they want to handle the United States threat towards Iran.
Neither China nor India would like to loose their oil supplies. And Russia does not want the United States getting a foothold in Iran.
It is my firm believe that if the United States gets a foothold in Iran, then Russia is at the top of the list for its next target.
By 2020 the domestic oil supplies of the United States will be exhausted and they will need an additional 9 to 11.3 million barrels of oil a day.
The best location on Earth to get this oil is the Caspian Sea and Caspian Basin.

Operation Freedom 2020 – refers to the securing of an additional 9 to 11.3 million barrels of oil a day for the United States by the year 2020. Oil that will be needed by the agricultural, plastics and transportation industry.
