Finnish Defense Minister to Visit Russia

Finland’s Defense Minister Stefan Wallin will pay an official visit to Moscow on Monday, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

This will be Wallin’s first visit to Russia in his new capacity. He assumed office in June 2011.

On the next day after the arrival of the Finnish delegation, Russian Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov will meet with Wallin to discuss the state and prospects of bilateral military cooperation.

The two ministers will also consider urgent regional and global security issues.
