GROZNY, March 2 (RIA Novosti) - According to the information of the operational headquarters of the anti-terrorist operation in the North Caucasus, the militants was preparing a terrorist act with the use of a high-toxic substance.
A spokesman for the headquarters told RIA Novosti today that a cache with an unusual explosive device was found on Monday in the Leninsky district of Grozny. That device consisted of 1.6 kilograms of TNT and seven 50-liter barrels of liquid chlorine.
The headquarters officers suppose that the militants were planning a big subversion in the city.
The dangerous find was rendered harmless.
